Why I Created This Course

I work with healers and creative-minded Entrepreneurs, and have been teaching QuickBooks courses since 2017. This particular course came about as an organic next step I took to support my clients.

It all began when I started pre-recording personalized QBO tips and tricks for my clients. After a few years, I began to notice trends in what people needed.

I discovered that the core of all of their QBO frustrations came down to one central issue: not being able to understand the software relationally as well as from an accounting perspective.

This prompted me to create a solution for Entrepreneurs who might already be working with a Bookkeeper, but want to learn how to maintain their accounts and understand their books. This course was also created or those who want to continue in their day to day financial operations and be better prepared to face their Tax Accountant at the end of the year.

Q&A

How much time will the course take to complete?

This course is self-paced and includes 10+ hours of training material.

What if I took the QBO Certification course? Is this the same content? 

Actually, no. It covers the same areas as the QBO training, but this is more about the function, relationship & purpose. I train you on how the software communicates and how to troubleshoot challenges. If anything, this is a great "in addition to" course if you've already completed the QBO technical training. 

My books are pretty simple, do you think I need this course? 

Yes! Even the most simple books can be done incorrectly. If you have simple books this is the perfect time to start--before they get more complicated! 

Can I delegate this to my Assistant? 

Yes! If you are pressed for time and need someone who knows what they are doing to train your Assistant on the QBO software, this course is the perfect resource for you.

I'm switching from Quickbooks Desktop to Online. Is it really that much different? 

Actually, it is. I made the switch to QuickBooks Online in 2017 after using Desktop for 11 years prior (I was a diehard desktop user!).

I describe QBO as "just different enough to be annoying". The switch definitely slowed me down until I learned it!

While I won't be teaching specific changes from desktop to online (since you are already familiar with desktop) you can still find your way through your QBO tasks more easily, as we cover a lot of navigation/troubleshooting.

I sell products and handle inventory. Does this cover these functions? 

This training does not, but we do offer customized live training on this. You can learn more about the Admin training with Kaylee here.

Will I learn about using Intuit Payroll in this course? 

You will not, since Payroll in itself is so customized and also because we use an outsourced option for our clients based on price and functionality. We don't have enough experience to confidently teach on this specific Intuit product at this time.

Is this course for me if I have ZERO QBO experience?

If you are JUST starting out with Quickbooks Online, and switching from either NO software, or from a totally different software (not including desktop), then you'll want to start out in our QBO Fresh Start Program first.

In QBO Fresh Start, I will teach you in-depth QBO navigation and help you build the foundation of your knowledge base as well as how to use the software customization. It's the better option for someone who is brand new to QBO and doesn't have any prior data to work with.

So if you're starting from scratch with QBO, Fresh Start is the program for you!
