Here are a few tips to set you up for success in Finance 101:
- This course is estimated to take 5-10 hours total, depending on your background, comfort and skill level with your finances. I recommend blocking out a set amount of time on your calendar to devote to this course calendar each day until completed (20-30 minutes per day is a good place to begin).
- Keep a notebook nearby for notes, questions, and reflections.
- Work through the modules in orde (best route) OR choose each lecture/section intuitively that you feel would best serve your needs.
- If you are "cherry picking," (i.e. choosing focus areas as needed rather than taking the course in order)and find you need more information to apply the training, simply back track to an earlier section. The information builds on and cross-references itself as we move through the course.
